Designing and Installing Productivity Incentive Bonus Plans Review
This book describes bonus plans applied to the business, industry, factory, and clerical workplace. It includes chapters on measuring individual and team productivity, subjective measurement of team performance, and design of a user tailor-made plan with variable product processing times relative to a base processing time.
Individual productivity is measured with straight piecework incentives, differential piecework for both increasing and decreasing rates, and standard hours. Team or group bonuses are described for group piecework rates, both equal and weighted distribution and group standard hours. Groups standard hours are used as an efficiency measure and gainsharing is examined briefly as productivity cost savings.
